This is my favourite tea of all time...so far! I was doing my grocery shop at Morrisons and, if I remember correctly, I was about to buy some shitty Morrisons own-brand coffee granules — which I was drinking every day because I'm not a coffee drinker and didn't care about the taste — when I saw Yorkshire Tea's Malty Biscuit Brew. "A biscuit-flavoured tea? That's interesting!", I thought to myself, and then purchsed it. I sprinted back home with excitement like I was being chased by the police, jumping over old ladies and cars, dying to try this new discovery.
A few moments after pouring the hot water on the tea bag, the smell was like a Custard Cream, a popular British sweet biscuit. I immediately got a semi. I was expecting it to taste like the real thing but it tasted more like a Rich Tea — another popular British biscuit but not as sweet — which had melted in a cup of breakfast tea. The taste was perfect; strong with about eight granules of sugar in it.
I love this biscuit-flavoured tea and have about four cups a day. It's going to be hard to find one that could replace this as my go-to, but I've only just started my quest to find awesome teas. I'm sure I'll discover a few that'll come very close.
If you love dunking sweet biscuits in your tea, I'm certain you'll like this one.
