Another loose-leaf tea I bought from The Camden Tea Company was their Pina Colada rooibos tea. I've only tried a real pina colada once, many years ago, and I enjoyed the taste of it, from what I remember, so I was intrigued to see how this flavour would translate as a tea.
The smell emanating from my mug after pouring hot water over the tea leaves was really sour, so I wasn't expecting to enjoy the taste, which I didn't. I immediately tasted the sourness, followed by the pineapple flavour, and finally the mild coconut aftertaste.
I won't be having this flavour again because it was way too sour. The only redeeming factor was the coconut aftertaste.
